Butter Knife and Cloth

Have you ever tried to clean in-between the cracks of your counters in your kitchen but couldn’t quite get the paper towel or cloth down in there the way you needed to? Try this simple trick using two things you most likely have lying around the house! Take a butter knife and wrap a cloth around it. Spray the cloth with cleaner, and slide the knife in-between small cracks until the area is clean.

Cleaning Your Microwave

Cleaning the inside of the microwave can be a challenge, especially if there is gunk built up on the walls. Put about 1/4 of a lemon into a glass of water, and microwave for about 3 minutes, or until the water is boiling. This will soften up all the gunk in your microwave and make it easy to wipe down. No more vicious scrubbing!

Cleaning Stainless Steel

While there are many professional cleaning solutions out there, the best way to clean stainless steel is a simple DIY way.. clean it with a microfiber cloth, and white vinegar, and buff olive oil in with the grain.

Cleaning out the Garbage Disposal

Baking soda and white distilled vinegar make for a great way to keep the drain of your kitchen sink clean and odorless. Once a week, pour the baking soda and white distilled vinegar down the sink and rinse it down with hot water. Not only will this keep the drain smell away, it will also keep your garbage disposal from smelling.
